Saturday 1 July busy day....

Don't forget Cocomad from 12 noon, unless you are on the rota to help set up when you need to go earlier.  Cocomad is a great local event for us to support and we hope to see lots of you there to help or just to say hello.

Here is the link to find out more Cocomad 2017

We will also be in our normal spot on the Mezzanine floor above the library cafe from 11 am until about 2 pm (don't forget the library does not open until 11 am although the cafe is open downstairs from 9am).  Everyone is welcome to join us to bring any stitching projects you are working on whether you need a bit of help or encouragement or just want to join in the social event and carry on with your project. We will have fabric and threads available if you want to join in.

workshop Saturday June 24

We have heard from the caretaker at Cotteridge:
Just to let you know that we have been given notification that National Grid intend to complete the gas works in connection with the bungalow refurbishments on the weekend of 24th - 25th June. Most of the work will actually take place in the road outside the main entrance, but we have no way of knowing (despite many enquiries) whether access to the carpark will be restricted, until the men are on site. We expect that pedestrian access would remain possible through the side gate in any case.
I thought it best to warn you that parking might be a problem for your group on Saturday 24th, although last time when they did work all the way up the entrance car parking was not impeded.

I will update if we hear any more
