March Branch Meeting - Hands on Canvaswork Session

This Monday (March 9th) at our branch meeting, we will be enjoying a practical stitching session, led by Anne and Lorna, both of whom have a love for beautiful and interesting canvaswork. We know that many of you enjoyed making brooches with Tina Francis at our November session, and this meeting is designed to build on those skills.

Don't worry if you missed the November session, or have never done any canvaswork before, it will be suitable for all levels of stitchers.

Please bring with you:

Basic sewing kit, scissors and tapestry needles with large eyes.
Any threads you have that you don't know what to do with
they can be glittery, perle, soft cotton, stranded cottons as well as wools not too fine though.
Colours are up to the individual and we will provide canvas to work on.

If you're new to the Guild, visitors are welcome, and the first session is free, with a charge of £4 thereafter. Please see here for details of where we meet. See you there!
