Summer Party - Kay and Cakes
The Committee are now busy planning the Branch Summer Party on July 8th 2013, which will be 'Kay and Cakes':
Our speaker is Kay Dennis, a prestigious stumpwork embroiderer and speaker, who will be talking to us about her fabulous work:
We will also be enjoying handmade cakes baked by the lovely Angela Rowles.
Additionally, we will be having a summer competition with the theme of 'Inspired By Nature', a Chinese Raffle, and an exhibition of embroudery stitched with our Stitches of the Month, so if you have stitched anything inspired by either the competition or exhibition themes, please bring it along.
As with previous years, we will be selling tickets for the event, priced at £1.50, to enable us to plan enough cakes for the day. You would be very welcome to bring a friend along to the party - if you would like a ticket, please either see Heather at the May/June meetings, or email birminghamembroiderersguild@gmail.com.
